The best China fulfillment companies for Shopify brands in 2026, and five checks to pick between them
On the same US route, the median parcel took 10 days on one line and 19 on another. Ask which line you get before you ask who is best.

Search for the best China fulfillment company and almost every list on page one is written by a company on it. That is normal in this industry, and it means the ranking tells you less than the questions behind it.
The best China fulfillment company for a Shopify brand is the one that can show you, before you sign, which shipping line your parcels go on, how long that line takes to your customers' country measured from real parcels, and what you pay all in. Five checks sort any shortlist in an afternoon.
This guide covers:
- The five checks that separate China fulfillment companies, and what a good answer sounds like
- Why the shipping line matters more than the company, measured on 274,002 parcels
- What a quoted range like "5 to 12 days" leaves out
- Six companies Shopify brands shortlist most, and what each one publishes
- Which kind of provider might fit your stage, from testing to 1,000+ orders a month

The five checks
Every provider on every list will tell you it is fast, reliable and cheap. These five questions get you past that, because each one has an answer you can hold them to.
- Which shipping line will my parcels go on? A name like YunExpress, Yanwen or 4PX, not "express shipping" or "our special line". The line sets most of your delivery time.
- How long does that line take to my main country, measured? You want a median and a slow end (the 90th percentile) from real parcels, per country. A range copied from a carrier's website is not a measurement.
- What do I pay all in? Pick and pack, packaging, storage after the free period, receiving, any monthly plan, and shipping. Get it as one number per order for your product.
- What are the minimums? Some providers need a minimum number of orders a month before they take you on. Others ask for a minimum quantity of stock per product. Both decide whether you can test.
- What do I see after the order? Live stock, a tracking number synced back to Shopify, and proof of delivery when a customer says the parcel never came.
Why the shipping line matters more than the company
A China fulfillment company picks, packs and hands your parcel to a shipping line. From that moment the line decides how long your customer waits. Two providers using the same line to the same country should land within about a day of each other. One provider using two different lines will not.
Here is the same US route, from the same warehouses, measured on each line over the last 180 days:
- YunExpress: median 10.2 days (53,396 parcels)
- Yanwen: median 10.4 days (4,544 parcels)
- WanbExpress: median 13.9 days (9,073 parcels)
- LX: median 14.7 days (1,478 parcels)
- SDH: median 19.1 days (5,529 parcels)

The slowest median is nearly double the fastest. A gap of nearly nine days is more than any warehouse can win back by packing faster. So when two providers quote you, compare them line to line. A cheaper quote on a lower tier line is not the same product as a pricier quote on a frontier line.
A lower tier line might still be the right call for you. If your product is heavy, low price and your customers are patient, the price difference could matter more than the week. Just make that choice on purpose, not because a quote hid it. What each tier gets you back when a parcel goes wrong is covered in China shipping lines compared.
What a quoted delivery range leaves out
Most provider pages quote a range, such as "5 to 12 days". A range tells you the best case and a hopeful worst case. It does not tell you where most parcels land, or how many run past the top.
On YunExpress to the US, the median parcel in this sample arrived in 10.2 days and 1 in 10 took longer than 14.4 days. That slow tenth is where your "where is my order" emails come from, and where chargebacks start.

When a provider sends you a range, ask one follow up: "What were your median and 90th percentile delivery days to the US last month, on the line you would put me on?" A provider that measures will have it. A provider that does not will send the range again. Where those days actually go, from order to doorstep, is broken down in how long shipping from China actually takes.
Six China fulfillment companies Shopify brands shortlist
These six show up across most of the page-one lists. This is not a ranking, it is what each one publishes on its own site as of 28 September 2026, and what to ask them next. Terms change, so check the live page before you sign.
- SendFromChina (SFC). Long running: "15+ years of fulfillment experience", a listed parent company, a Shopify app and "50+ international shipping partners". 30 days of free storage. Ask: which of those partners carries your product to your main country, and its measured delivery time.
- ChinaDivision. Publishes clear pricing: pick and pack "from $0.59 / order", the first 30 days of storage free, free receiving and setup, and "no minimums". Custom rates from 1,000+ orders a month. Ask: the storage rate after day 30, and the line for your main country.
- NextSmartShip. Pick and pack at "$0.5 first pick, $0.1 / additional pick", two months of free storage, no volume minimum, and warehouses outside China as well. Ask: the shipping rate and line for your product, since the pricing page leaves shipping to the quote.
- Portless. Aimed at larger brands, working with brands at 1,000+ orders a month, with "99.8% orders fulfilled in one day" and native Shopify integration. Pricing is by demo. Ask: the all-in cost per order for your product, and whether delivery times are in business or calendar days.
- CJdropshipping. Free to start, with "90 days free storage" in its China and US warehouses and China storage from $0.20 per cubic metre per day after that. Ask: the outbound fee and line for your product, and the exact day storage billing starts in each warehouse you would use.
- HyperSKU. Two plans, both at $0 a month, with 30 or 60 days of free storage and "Express Shipping: 5-12 days delivery". Up to 10 stores connected, $10 per extra store. Ask: the line behind "express", and its median to your main country.
Look at what the list has in common. Pick and pack fees are small and published. The storage clock runs from 30 to 90 days. The shipping line, which decides most of the delivery time, is the one thing you have to ask for.
Which kind of provider might fit your stage
- Testing products with little volume: a free platform such as CJdropshipping or HyperSKU could fit, because there is no monthly plan and no stock to buy up front.
- A proven product and steady daily orders: a 3PL or all in one partner with no minimums and a named frontier line might be the better fit, because the line and the fees start to matter more than the catalogue.
- 1,000+ orders a month and a finance team asking for unit costs: providers that publish per-order pricing, or quote custom rates at that volume, could make the comparison easier.
Whatever the stage, run the same five checks. They do not favour a type of company, they favour whoever can answer them.
How to run the checks in an afternoon
- Email three providers the same brief: your product, its weight, your main three countries and your daily orders.
- Ask each for the line they would use per country, by name.
- Ask for the median and 90th percentile delivery days on that line, last month, in calendar days.
- Ask for one all-in cost per order, including packaging, storage after the free period and shipping.
- Ask for their minimums in writing, both orders a month and units per product.
- Ask to see the tracking a customer gets, and a sample proof of delivery.
Put the answers side by side. Line for line, the gaps will be smaller than the marketing suggests, and the provider that answered every question clearly is usually the one to start with.
How we handle this at Commercive
We publish our answers to the first two checks on our shipping status page: every line we run, its tier, and its measured median and slow end per country, updated from live parcels. The figures in this article come from the same data.
Here is how we answer the other three. Our quote is all in: goods, handling, shipping and fees in one price. There is no storage fee and no monthly plan, and no handling fee when you use your own packaging. We have no minimum daily order count to work with us, and when we source, we default to the no-MOQ or lowest-MOQ option across our 1,845+ vetted factories. Your store connects in about five minutes and orders can process the same day, and our dashboard shows live stock and tracking for every parcel.
One thing against our own interest: our main line is YunExpress, and several companies on this list can put you on YunExpress too. On the same line to the same country, delivery times should be close. The difference is in the other four checks. Our FAQ answers most of them in more detail.

Commercive is your all in one sourcing and fulfilment partner. If you're currently running a brand, just give us the product and your daily order volume. We'll get you a quote within the next 24 hours to hold up against what you're paying today.
Delivery figures are measured on 274,002 parcels shipped by Commercive in the 180 days to 28 September 2026, across 77 destination countries, 99.45% of which arrived. Times are calendar days from the first carrier scan to the delivered scan. US figures compare each line on its own parcels to the same country, so the product mix does not skew the comparison; medians are never added or averaged across lines. Company details come from each company's own public website, read on 28 September 2026. They are quoted, not tested, and they change, so confirm them with the provider.
What is the best China fulfillment company for a Shopify store?
There is no single winner. The best one for your store can tell you which shipping line your parcels go on, its measured delivery time to your main country, your all-in cost per order, its minimums, and what tracking your customers see. Ask every provider on your shortlist the same five questions and compare the answers.
How long does a China fulfillment company take to deliver to the US?
It depends mostly on the shipping line. In our data over the last 180 days, the median US parcel took about 10 days on YunExpress and Yanwen, about 14 to 15 on WanbExpress and LX, and about 19 on SDH, counted in calendar days from first scan to delivery.
Do China fulfillment companies have minimum order requirements?
Some do and some do not. A few providers only take brands above a set number of orders a month, while others publish no volume minimum. Separately, some ask for a minimum quantity of stock per product. Get both minimums in writing before you sign.
What fees should I expect from a China 3PL?
Usually pick and pack per order, packaging, storage once a free period ends (commonly 30 to 90 days), receiving, sometimes a monthly plan, and shipping. Published pick and pack fees start around $0.50 an order. Ask for one all-in cost per order for your product so you can compare quotes directly.
Is a China 3PL better than dropshipping from AliExpress?
For a store with steady orders, usually yes. A China 3PL holds your stock, packs every order the same way and puts it on a named line, so delivery times are more predictable and you can use your own packaging. Marketplace sellers each ship on their own terms, which makes delivery times and branding hard to control.
