Comparing the two
+Isn't Day One bigger than Commercive?
They have been running since 2013 and publish over 500 staff and around 65,000 parcels a day. It is a serious operation and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We run four warehouses across China and the US with capacity for 50,000 orders a day, and we are built to take you at your first order and still be there at 5,000 a day.
+Will my parcels be slower with you?
No, and we will not claim they will be faster either. Day One's primary line is YunExpress and so is ours, which means the same lanes and effectively the same transit. What differs is that you choose the tier, and we publish what each line actually delivers per country instead of quoting one global average.
+Can I switch without pausing my store?
Yes, and that is the normal case. The connection is non-destructive, so orders keep flowing while we take over fulfillment. Most brands switch without any downtime, and the sensible order is new inbound stock and slow movers first, then the rest once live orders confirm the lanes.
+Do I need to already be doing a certain number of orders?
No. We have no minimum daily order requirement. We work with brands that are just launching and with brands shipping thousands of orders a day.
Shipping and carriers
+Which carriers do you use?
We run three tiers and you choose the one that fits the order. Premium: YunExpress, Yanwen and 4PX. Mid: WanbExpress, Jisu and Huahan. Economy: LX and SDH.
+Why do you tell me which carriers are worse?
Because you are paying for the trade-off and you should get to make it. Most fulfillment companies quote one blended delivery estimate and never name the line your parcel actually went on. We publish the tiers, the carriers and the real transit ranges so you can price and promise accurately.
+Do you restrict what products you will handle?
We place no category restrictions on legal goods. Restrictions come from individual carriers, not from us: some lines will not carry batteries, liquids or powders. We run multiple lines so a restriction on one carrier does not become a restriction on your order.
Pricing and terms
+Do you charge storage fees?
No. Storage is free, with no monthly warehouse fee and no long-term storage penalty.
+Is there a handling fee for custom packaging?
No. You pay for the packaging itself, and we add nothing on top. We do not charge a per-order handling fee for using your own packaging.
